At Drakes

The yoga classes I run at Drakes are bespoke and semi-private.  The space holds a maximum of 4 students, so its unlike traditional yoga classes where if its a large group of 15+ students, the teacher may not be able to get around to everyone so you really do get lots of attention, adjustments/enhancements and instruction.  You can also ask questions during or after practice as things arise, which you may not feel able or have the opportunity to do in larger settings.

You can expect to feel welcomed, seen, heard, encourage and supported at one of my classes, all whilst listening to some great yoga music!  If you are attending one of my vinyasa style classes, you can expect to feel as though you’ve worked your body, to sweat, to breathe deeper and to leave feeling more spacious, relaxed and open than when you came in.  If you are attending my beginners class you can expect to feel guided and supported through a gentle class that allows your body to open gradually and slowly as you develop and improve your core stability, flexibility, strength and balance.

“The yoga practice which I have been doing for the past few months has helped with my flexibility and balance as well being an excellent way to stretch fully, and strengthen muscles. The small group teaching enables Claire to observe one carefully, provide the necessary props and support to achieve the maximum results. At the beginning of a session she checks out any problem areas to take them into account during the session.  It is an enjoyable and beneficial period in the week.

Corporate Yoga Classes

The corporate yoga classes I run allow employees to lower their stress levels, increase productivity and reduce back pain.  A lot can be done in 1 hour a week!  Other benefits of yoga in the work place are:
